The 2013 has the usual Dom Perignon flavors of lemon, exotic fruits, toast, and roasted almonds. There are also hints of apricot and mandarin.  It does not have the easy drinking appeal and richness of warm years, but  the minerality of cooler years. The palate is silky but with strong mineral and precise notes reminiscent of 1988, which today shows how well Dom Perignon develops over the years. James Suckling rates it at 98/100 and Richard Juhlin scores it 93(95).
