Blanc des Millenaires 2006 is a good choice for fans of this Blanc de Blancs champagne from Charles Heidsieck. There is no 2008 Blanc des Millenaires and the 2007 and 2014 alternatives have increased significantly in price, but have tended to decline in quality.
2006 shows the incredibly seductive creamy palate and the typical citrus flavours underpinned by toasted almond and vanilla. 2006 Blanc des Millenaires is nuttier than the 2004 which is more mineral.
