The first aroma, the first sip reveal a great Chardonnay Champagne. Like the prestige Blanc de Blancs Amour de Deutz, it comes from the best sites in Avize (43%), Le Mesnil-sur-Oger (40%), Chouilly (12%) and Villers-Marmery (5%).
Amour is softer and creamier, so it offers immediate drinking pleasure at the highest level. It is Madonna’s favourite Champagne.
The standard Blanc de Blancs is firmer and more mineral when young and needs more time. A Champagne for connoisseurs. Richard Juhlin gives the 2018 95(94) and the 2019 is even a few nuances better in the long term.
The aromas of lemon, lemon meringue, vanilla and almonds are so attractive that it can be drunk young. In five years it offers even more, let alone in ten.
