- One of the top Premier Crus of Chambolle
- A full-bodied Chambolle that still needs a little time
This tiny premier cru of half a hectare is little known, but it is Amiot Servelle best premier cru after Amoureuses. It is located at the bottom of bonnes mares and produces a pinot noir that is rather full bodied and powerful for Chambolle Musigny. It has lush fruit and spicy floral aromas too. While this provides pleasure today, you better keep it for a few more years to wait for it to open up.
Domaine Amiot-Servelle is a traditional wine estate in Burgundy whose origins date back to around 1920, when Clément Tachot planted the first vines in Chambolle-Musigny. The winery as it exists today was created in 1975 when Christian Amiot from Morey-Saint-Denis married Elisabeth Servelle (then still under the name Servelle-Tachot), with Christian Amiot then driving forward fundamental modernisation and quality improvements, which his daughter Prune continued.
