Laurent Perrier la Cuvee

Champagne Malakoff in 2004 and gained access to top chardonnay vineyards on the Cote des Blancs and considerable reserves of older wines. It took almost 15 years to eleaborate Laurent Perrier la Cuvee which was supposed to have greater complexity and depth due to more reserve wines but also keep its charming and elegant character. La cuvee ages on the lees for four years and with its combination of smooth textural richness, freshness and depth it already has impeccable balance upon release. La Cuvee provides immediate pleasure and does not need to be aged in the cellar unlike more neutral base cuvees that develop flavour after a few years of home storage.
