The Gevrey-Chambertin from Rossignol-Trapet is made from vines that are around 50 years old and impresses with its clear fruit and fine tannins. In the 2020 vintage, it is not the density that surprises, as there are many powerful wines, but its finesse and balance. The Rossignol brothers are rather restrained when it comes to extraction. Nevertheless, it still needs a few years in the cellar.
