Description

Carbonaione is made from ancient Sangiovese wines and elevated 14 to 18 months in french oak barrels. It is closer to Brunello than Chianti in style. The Carbonaione 2010 is wonderful to drink now. Juicy Sangiovese fruit is underpinned by earthy tones and is given an energetic tension by perfectly dosed acidity and fine tannins.
